In all cases, the OTHER parent signed the permission slips. In my two
Scouts' case, it was Mom; in my own case, it was my Dad.
Additionally, in my own personal case, it wasn't a matter of not going to
the monthly campouts and hikes, but rather the *other things* in Scouting,
like going to Roundtable as a Den Chief, or going to another Troop's
meeting, or attending a dinner of the District.
