I'd look at Mike The Hatter, in Cleveland, Ohio.
In his web site he says he can clean and size hats, as well as provide
various bits like sweat bands and chin straps - don't look to BSA for
these as the new ones look and fee morelike plastic than real leather.
BTW, in the new BSA catalog they OFFER custom sizes for aligher fee.
I have nothing to do with his orgainzation, but it looks as if he could
solve your problems. I intend to send him my 7 1/2 Campaign Hat and ask
if he can make it a 7 3/8, shaped to fit my head.
