I'm looking for some ideas to make my Troop's in-camp Summer
Camp experience a really memorable one. Just looking for unique,
enjoyable, things that the Scouts can learn to do and share with
others in Camp. The main concentration would be things to have
and do in our campsite for those slower times like the evenings
when we can all get together and invite others in. I have compiled
ideas from past years and have added some things for this year.
If anyone has some neat ideas they'd like to share, I would be
So far, we will have homemade Root Beer, Sassafras, & Sarsparilla-we
will be trying yeast carbonation, dry ice, and forced CO2 carbonation.
I'll do my old standby "Whomp biscuit" donuts and beignets.
I will have a Solar Oven and a Solar Grill out to demo and bake
goodies-cakes and pies. As you can see, so far we plan on having
our neighbor Troops and Staph over for some fellowship and feasting.
Any other neat things out there? If we can't use them for Summer
Camp-they'll make great additions to our Bag-o-tricks.
