I get these "polls" all the time, and THEY DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR ANSWER
IS! They are deliberately worded to be as contoversial as possible, to
get the maximum number of people to PAY to respond. And I've seen
prices much higher than $2.95. I guess we should be flattered that
Scouting isn't controversial enough to swindle people out of top dollar.
Here are some highly scientific questions I've been "polled" on:
"Should the government confiscate all our guns?"
"Should handguns be allowed in our schools?"
"Should abortion be (take your pick of extreme positions)?"
"Should the death penalty blahblahblah?"
The only result they care about is the payment you make to respond. The
best we can hope for from the actual answers is that they trip over the
trash can they threw them in on their way to the bank.
Please, don't respond to these inflamatory polls. To do so is to line
the pockets of the basest kinds of predators.
