Interesting, since this is the reason we switch to the Eureka Outfitters in the first place. Have been in several severe windstorms and never lost one of these if they were put up right. Did lose the fly on one Timberline that wasn't set up correctly. Also, we use the little loop on the top of the fly for guy ropes if we know a storm is coming. By the way, we live in tornado country and have spent a bunch of time at camps in the dining hall "tornado shelter". Haven't lost an Outfitter yet!
