I must explain a couple of things to all of you.
First I would like to apologize to all of you for the
length of my response to Tom that was posted earlier
Second, I'd like to explain to all of you that at
first I planned to reply privately to Tom and then I
got to thinking that maybe God had a bigger plan in
mind when he had Tom send that post to the whole
group. Sure enough, I've received a couple of posts
today with requests for more information. So I
apologize to those of you that were thinking, "What

would be surprised at how often I receive questions
about Scouting and AD/HD.
Now, in my earlier post I promised to send some links
that I thought might help. Here they are:
Be sure to check out the local chapters link. There
is a lot of information on this site.

that I know of regarding AD/HD.
An excellent site about Scouting with disAbled Scouts.
The National Parent Network on Disabilities
Reed is a nationally recognized authority on Special
He gives some excellent information on parent's
Another excellent legal web site. Lots of help here.
In the meantime, some of the CHADD Chapter
Coordinators across the nation have suggested for you,
Tom to check out:
Fragile X Research Foundation
National Fragile X Foundation
You're probably already familiar with those two, but
it never hurts to share them anyway. I've learned a
lot from them already.
I hope this helps out, even a little. Good luck and
please do keep us posted.
Hugs to both you and your wife,

Chief Seattle Council
