And, a crumb others may wish to brush off -- if you've got one of those
free services (juno, bluelight, inet, yahoo, msn, deja, et al), one of
the things you agreed to to get it was to accept advertising messages.
SOME Spam may come from there, in which event it isn't spam, because
you're getting it as part of agreed-upon tos.
I know my personal quota of junk e-mail rose after we signed up with one
