Sand--and I'm not that old. But no longer considered LNT by some folks.
Nylon scrubbie??? Try scotch-bright� by 3M. If you can't find them in
grocery try hardware wholesalers. Cut most sizes in half to about 2-1/2" x
4". After each campout have one Scout in each Patrol take it home and stick
it in the silverware basket in the dishwasher for one cycle. Should last a
year or two.
