I remember reading somewhere, I think it was Backpacker magazine, where they
asked chefs at famous restraunts who also loved the outdoors for their favorite
backwoods recipes. One of them, who was head chef at a high-end restraunt near
Central Park in NY, remarked how he got interested in cooking when he was in Boy
Scouts, and was the only boy in his Troop to earn Cooking merit badge.
So who knows, those "blackened" pancakes and hotdogs may just lead to a future
