Okay Mike and Gang:
In follow to you responses about multiple youth religious emblems:
What knot and device would a Scouter wear in this case or would he be denied
the right to wear anything?
A number of religious organizations allow the last youth award to be earned
up to age 21. If the Scout were in an Explorer/Venture Crew, no problem.
But if stayed in Scouting and became an SA with his Troop then what?
What about an adult who is honored by the Religious Award by more than one
religious organization? Some folks wear a device used by that
organization--but I understand that is not in accordance with BSA policy. I
know one Scouter who has been recognized by at least seven religious
organizations because of his work with Scouts and lay leaders in a number of
religious organizations setting up programs for youth within P. R. A. Y. and
other groups, so this is not an abstract situation.
