but I have been thinking that if the dads ate separately (and better) then
the scouts could see (by example) what could be achieved, gastronomically
speaking. This would be Learn by Example, - stomach driven.
Its the way I always did it. But I have been a bit intimidated by the other
list members who have asserted that it is the wrong way. The kids would
wander over, see me working with raw chicken breasts and say Yuck. Then an
hour and a half later, after having smelled the garlic for all that time and
after the adults had finished all they could eat of Fettucini Alfredo con
Polo, with Spinachi Romana, and antipasto salad, they were back begging for
anything that was left.
I figured I was teaching something. But maybe it was teaching how to beg.
