Well....he needs to be brought to a computer and read the words from the
BSA's official website with regard to the Eagle Scout Leadership Project
Workbook (what used to be called the "Life to Eagle Project Workbook").
On the website, several versions of the workbook is offered, including a PDF
version and a version which works best with a version of Microsoft(tm)'s
If your District Chair refuses to take advantage of computer generated forms
and applications, please tell him that this is the direction that the BSA is
going in, and not just a "group of Scouters with computers at home". The
BSA has invested a lot of money into getting site licenses of Adobe's
products, and as time goes onward, the PDF forms will be replaced by a
version of FormFlow(tm) or something similar which will allow for direct
input into the form and then transmission of that form to the Council and/or
