Watch out, National also does not say it is in poor taste. They could put
words in the advancement materials to discourage a parent being the sole
merit badge councillor where other councillors are available, but they do
not. As far as we know, National may think it is in very fine taste.
By the way, this omission puts a burdon on Scoutmasters trying to influence
enthusiastic ex-Weblos den leaders from starting 15 merit badges with
their son. You know those people wo want to make sure they
get as many merit badges as possible (since
they just finished helping their son earn all the Webelos Activities
