This is not an unusual problem and BSA has written policy to deal with it.
The policy is titled: "Alternate Requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and
First Class Ranks" (page 10, 1999 Boy Scout Requirements , 33215B, ISBN
0-8395-3215-6, Revised 1999),
I hope you'll buy "Boy Scout Requirements" from your Scout Shop or National Supply,
take all the Boy Scout Training you can get, become active with your new Troop,
and contribute the wonderful Spirit you so clearly demonstrated in your message.
