Just another note--there are now 304 camps, in 44 states listed
There are also about 150 detailed comments submitted by scouters.
Some points of note:
1. I feared serious slowdown problems as the number of camps grew
past 100. So far, the site has remained very quick to load. I am amazed!
2. The site fulfilled its original goal of supplying my troop with
some new places to camp in Minnesota. (Thanks, Helen!)
A few hundred people emailed me comments & suggestions, as well as
additional lists of places to camp. I also recieved help from OA lodges
(special thanks to Migisi Opawgan Lodge #162 and Catawba Lodge #459) I am
working on getting all these entered, but I estimate it will take about 5
years to do it alone. Fortunately, I'm not doing it alone.
Finally, I am asking (as always) for everyone's help to add to the
list. Here is a breakdown of the states with the most campgrounds listed
OH: 28 (Lucky!)
WI, IN: 11
FL, MN, NJ: 10 (Yay, Minnesota!)
IA, AR, MI: 9
NC, AL, VA: 7
NV, CO, KS: 6
NH, WY: 5
UT, OR, ID, MA: 4
OK, KY, SD: 3

SC, WA, ON(Ontario), ME, MS, FA, NM: 1
Thanks to everyone, and happy camping!
