Taking our anger out toward the school, the
>government, and politics in general doesn't further the Scouting cause.
True to a point. As a responsible adult trying to assist children to be
responsible adults when they grow up, I believe it is necessary for me to
speak out and attempt to eleminate zero tolerance rules. Rules of these
type only teach youth that they do not have to be responsible. I am not
advocating civil disobediance, but I will forcefully and constantly speak
out against zero tolerance rules because they do not work, they are
counter-productive and they go against everything I believe in as a Scouter
and a Citizen. I believe that I owe this to the Scouts.
