In the past, our Pack had always asked everyone to remove their hat indoors.
A couple of years ago, someone mentioned that it is not considered
disrepectful to wear a hat indoors in all cultures. In trying to be very
open-minded, liberal, and cross-cultural minded, we now leave it up to the
individual scouts and their families as to whether they wear their hat
indoors or not. We have learned that most boys know what their moms and dads
prefer and will usually follow that rule. This is NOT official, just a Pack
For the most part, they all wear their hats indoors but take it off for the
