I totally agree with Ralph here. Every Scouter holding a position within a
troop and/or troop committee should ideally be SALT trained at a minimum.
How else will they know whether or not the SM is doing his job? How else
will they know if they are doing their OWN jobs? How can a troop committee
deliver the promise of they don't know exactly what the promise is? A
well-run troop knows its business and knows its boys and has a good grasp of

involvement promotes a successful unit.
