I was watching Jeopardy on TV tonight (shows you how exciting my weekend
are when I'm not camping) and lo and behold, there was a Boy Scouts of
America category. There was also a "B" Prepared category, which had nothing
to do with Scouting, but a catchy title, nonetheless. Anyway, here are the
answers for the Boy Scouts category (as best as I can remember, wording is
This Boy Scout unit is made up of one or more patrols
(picture of the merit badge on screen) This merit badge can be earned
by playing either the trumpet or the bugle.
Magellan might have joined this branch of the Boy Scouts, which is for
young men and women from ages 14 to 20.

This individual is the honorary president of the Boy Scouts of America.
The Boy Scouts of America publishes Scouting and this magazine.

BTW, we had a chance to attend a taping of Jeopardy when in California
about a year ago. During intermission, Alex Trebek regaled us with stories
of his son's Pinewood Derby, complete with a description of the trials of
competing against other sons of the Hollywood rich and famous. Nice to see
good press on the screen for the BSA!
