Boy are you lucky. At least your experience is a memory. My wife does makes
me strip in the unheated garage (after midwestern winter campouts) today.
Then its sprint up stairs for a shower. Then, washed and warmed, its back
out to the garage to collect all the stuff I stripped off and dumped out
there. My coat (or coats) just get hung in the back yard till the smoke
clears out, then can be brought in. The rest of the stuff goes directly into
the washing machine. At least she lets me go.
