I'm responsing to the list for those who was not sure what is peace arch.
It is also called hands across the border. It is located in Blaine
Washington. It is on the second weekend of June. They close down I-5 both
north and south lanes and hundreds of scouts, girl scouts, camp fire and
4-h line up on the north bound lanes and all Candian scouts, line up on the
south bound lanes. Than they take turns marching through the arch which is
on the US/Candian border. The US is on one side and the Candians are on the
other after to many speeches<g>. Both sides meet and trades patches. This
is a great experiance for any troop or pack to attend.
Your troop will have the honor for the 3 year to carry the flags of
