Being a native New Orleanian, I know Beignets (pronounced "ben-yeahs") all
too well. Sat across from Jackson Square in the Cafe Du Monde and enjoyed
them way too often. There is actually a Beignet mix you can purchase. Mix
up the dough, and drop them into hot (and I mean HOT) oil. Make sure you
use good oil. I am not sure if you can buy the mix in your city/state.
