scouts-l Mail Archive for February of 2000: Soaping pans
Sun Feb 27 2000 - 12:17:37 CST
I just returned from our "Olympics" campout. Our scouts do ALL their
cooking over open fires; no stoves except under special circumstances.
While I and of the ASM's were lounging around we refreshed our
amazement of how well soaping the bottom of pans works for making
cleaning the pans so relatively easy after coking. The question is; How
did this start? Who thought of it? Where is it's origin?
