Hmmm...very interesting question. I'm sure there's a real definitive
answer for this so lemme have it!.....
We set a date (usually the 3rd meeting in February) for our new scouts to
first attend troop meetings and to have a "parent indoctrination session".
Now we take in Webelos from 3-4 different packs (this year 21 boys) and
they all have different B&G banquet dates, AOL ceremony dates, etc. We
take applications from these boys and turn them in to council as early as
December 31st .....the boys continue in their den meetings, pack activities
both from 12/31 thru Feb and sometimes even on into March if their banquets
or AOL ceremonies run that late. In otherwords, some of them attend both
Cub Scout and Boy Scout meetings/activities during this transition period.
I guess I just assumed that they were registered in both places during that
period of time. True or False?
BLUE SKIES!, Any day above ground is a good day!
