YES! Let's support ALL our boys' interests! This past year our SPL was in
band and the local youth orchestra He replaced a SPL who played varsity
football and wrestled, who in turn had replaced an SPL who starred in the
H.S. musical during his tenure. All three are also honor society members,
one is a volunteer junior fireman and another the president of the ambulance
youth corps! Two have made Eagle and the musician is almost done with his
Encourage you boys to be active in as MANY aspects of life as they are able,
it makes them better scouts and better people and that's what we're all
about isn't it.
BTW, the troop is attending the youth orchestra spring concert where our
former SPL has a French horn solo!
