When I was a WDL, in order to help the Scouts learn the Oath, Law, motto,
slogan and all the other Boy Scout stuff they needed to know (uniform, scout
badge etc.), I made up a game board based on Trivial Pursuit. There were
four groups of questions, each marked with a different color. The Webelos
played the game at Den meetings. They could play it without adult
interference/guidance. The Webelos asked the questions (written on
notecards) and judged the answers. For each correct answer they received a
different colored bead. When they had correctly answered all the questions,
they would have about 27 beads.
With 8 scouts, I made two boards, so 4 scouts played together. This kept
each Scout involved.
