Regarding Ohio Blue Tip matches, Paul wolf commented:

We've discussed this topic before. Yes, they do still make the strike
anywhere matches. Some retailers may choose not to carry them, or
there may be local regualtions on their sale. Here is a quote from the
Diamond Brands website <www.diamondbrands.com>
Made from native American Aspen, our
Kitchen matches light easily, burn cleanly, and
smoke minimally after extinguishing.
Available in either "Strike on Box" or "Strike Anywhere"
varieties, these are perfect matches for
around the house, the cabin, or even out at the
campsite. Boxes contain 250 matches. Major
brands include Diamond, Ohio Blue Tip, and
Fire Chief. "
Tell your retailer that you are looking for the "Strike Anywhere"
variety. The store manager may not even know that there is a
difference or that it matters to anyone. I don't have any problem
finding good old Ohio Blue Tips here in Wisconsin.
