In a recent message to the Committee Chair (that's me) one of the
Committee Members asked to have this added to the agenda.
"A report from the scoutmaster on exactly what scouts in leadership
positions have done to fulfill the responsibilities of those positions."
I thought, at first, that this was an interesting item to add. But, on
further reflection, I wonder if this is a question that the SM should
answer? Or, is this a question that the SPL should answer? The well
known Troop Org Chart would mean that the SM should go to the SPL and
ask this question - and then report back to the Committee. But, it would
seem to me that the SPL should be able to report on this question
directly to the Committee; after all he is the one who should know best
whether or not his PLC is working effectively.
What does this collective list say?
