Our variation on that theme is to fill the egg carton cups with dryer
lint, packed pretty firm, and then flood with parafin.
Tall flame as much as fifteen minutes, which will dry out soaked
twigs and ignite them. and small kindling as well. I tell the kids
that if I can pick the wood, they may soak it overnight in a bucket
of water, and I will start a fire with it the next morning.
