I've been volunteered to run a session at our Council's Pow Wow on
"Internet & Digital Cub Scouting" in mid-March. I've reviewed the list
archives and done a bunch of surfing, now I need to tap the wisdom of the list.
I thought of breaking the session into two major areas -
1) Computer and Internet Resources for Cub Leaders (CD-ROMS, Web Sites,
Mail Lists, etc.)
2) Why Should My Pack Have a Web Site - and How to Make it Happen?
I'm looking for suggestions from the group, especially from folks who have
done similar sessions at Pow Wow's, Roundtable, etc. What should I cover?
What should I leave out? How should it be organized and presented? I also
plan to talk about Web safety (especially as it pertains to names/photos on
I'd also like ideas on handouts. I want them to be more than a list of URLs
and web site printouts. Maybe I can even burn some CDs...we'll just have to
Thanks in advance for all your help,
