Not to be too cynical, but are we saying that it is acceptable to
students,parents and schools to for the schools to require the students to be
present for everything but for one to get an "A" in Scouting (earn the Eagle
Scout award), it is acceptable for Scouting to take second place behind all
these other activities? Will these schools allow excused absences for
Scouting activities? I know that some will and some won't.
I guess it is rather clear who has the "juice" and who doesn't.
