My sweetie the DC & exec VP has a question for the list... Our council does
not have a formally appointed Risk Management responsibility slot, and we
wonder whether/how we should be looking at this. Does BSA National have a
standard for this? Job description? Responsibility list? if so, where
How does your Council handle the Risk Management position? Do you even have
one? Is it a Board position? What are the experience base & qualifications of
the person(s) who hold(s) this responsibility?
We notice that the Philmont Training Center has a session for Health &
Safety/Risk Management offered this summer, and it focusses largely on camp
issues. What are some of the other RM issues that your person (if you have
