I need some educatioon on the purpose(s) of Roundtable.
seems we have a lot of announcements at Roundtable each month. everyone
brings a flyer for their event(s) and then also stands up and tells us
everything on the flyer. we go thru council level, district level and misc.
misc. event announcements.
I thought that the primary purpose of Roundtable was training, not passing
on information. if you have a flyer on the handout table, do you really
need to tell everything that's on the flyer also?
our Roundtable has improved greatly; we are moving quickly towards a
meeting that models the troop meeting planning sheet, which I think is a
great plan. we are getting some good programs on the agenda too, but this
announcement thing is driving me buggy, and I don't get to sing the
anouncement song either:(.
maybe if I did, they would get the hint:)
anyway, y our thoughts are invited.
