Had a very venerable tent finally die on a campout. We threw most of it
out but one of the parents saved a section and cut out patch-sized sections
for everyone who was there for that last weekend.
Then again, I kept an old tent of the Troop's when we were cleaning out. I
use it for:
covering up the garden when frost is forcast
line the car trunk when carrying dirty, messy stuff
to carry leaves out to the street
you get the idea.
