I just asked something like this on JLT-L:
Our Council just put on the Troop Committee Challange.
Two from our Troop attended. They felt it was a good course (neither had
I'm sure more will attend when it is offerred again.

I agree - and it's hard to equate what you learn to how your own unit has
implemented the program - or even remember everything covered.
We are considering putting together an 'Adult Troop Leader Development'
(for lack of a better title) to be used within the Troop. Has anyone
anything like that? We'd have it for all adults - emphasizing new ASMs
and Committee members.
