I agree with this. 100% Boy's Life subscription is pretty difficult
A number of boys in our pack are wholly or partially subsidized by CO
or pack assistance fund. Generally the additional $9 for Boy's Life
is not subsidized by our assistance fund, as the money is used to help
scouts with a variety of scout related cost. We help as much as we
can, but this is more for the "need to have" rather than the "nice to
have". If a boy doesn't have a uniform, that is pretty obvious and
sets him apart; not getting Boy's Life means he usually borrows a copy
