lasers and paintball, 1 last thought

With the recent thread on laser tag and paintball I thought I'd paste in a
promo-email I received on my company address. Funny thing is they never
mention that the object is to shoot someone. They promote it as a way to
"accomplish an objective" and a way to improve your communication skills and
share with friends. Sounds nice!
I played "Cops and Robbers" and "Cowboys and Indians" back in the early 60's
but I quit when I turned 11 or 12. I can't help but wonder if older teens
and young adults playing shoot em up adds to the reasons our society is in
the shape it's in. Just my humble opinion, and by the way, I hunt and I
have never pointed a weapon (loaded or unloaded) at anything I didn't intend
to kill for supper. I'm not intending to upset anyone just share some
thoughts and it's something I feel strongly about.
PAINTBALL GAMES - THE SPORT OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM
At the Best Paintball Fields in Houston!
Paintball is a team sport, played on heavily wooded areas with natural
obstacles and in Indoor arenas with futuristic urban surroundings.
It's an adventure game where two teams attempt to accomplish an
objective using Co2 powered Paintball markers. To win, they have to
use communication, strategy and must be able to make decisions quickly
under fire. Paintball is for ages 10 to 110 and is a great experience to
share with friends, corporate outings, birthdays, bachelor parties and more..
It's alot of fun, great exercise, and very exciting.
** Hundreds of Clubs, Organizations and Businesses have used Paintball
for the following:
* Company Events
