The reason I have been discussing this in Scouts-L has NOTHING to do
with allowing gays into Scouting...
It's a red-herring and a guilt-by-association to imply that.

It's a way of shutting out something that you don't won't heard.
Are you capable of thinking past the wall?
Do you know WHY I became involved in searching down these numbers?
Because I saw how Scouts and Scouters responded to Ed Dunn here and in
(Granted Ed Dunn didn't go out of his way in being user friendly - an
Ed Dunn ASKED for help.
He lacked the expertise to convert charts to .gifs or format the data
properly for the web.
Reading some of Ed's posts I believed he deserved and *we owed* a
proper consideration of the information.
I myself had conflicts with Ed Dunn in the past.
We DON'T agree on the issue that Bill Nelson just mentioned, but it
really chapped me to see how adults and Scouters could dismiss and not
even consider what he was saying and in many cases act decidedly

generalizing and categorizing the bearer of that information be my

By the way, someone directed me to a chart that did a breakdown by ages
for the time period in question.
There should be some extrapolated figures below the graph shortly...
