Your best pipeline for communication in either direction is through your
Commissioner. The Unit Commissioner is supposed to represent the District
and Council to the unit and the unit to the District and Council. This
person reports to the Asst. District Commissioner and the District
Commissioner is a member of the Council Commissioner Staff as well as
sitting on various other Council Committees as well. The District Chairman
can also forward information to the Council as this person works closely
also with the District Executive and has council contacts.
As to the selection of the District Chairperson--this is supposed to be done
by the District Nominating Committee. The District Commissioner is then
selected by the District Chairperson.
An ole Bobwhite and Gunaquot Gispuin too!
A Scoutmaster and District Commissioner too!
