This is a great way to honor a true Scouter and Scouting is the monetary
beneficiary. Is it not true that even if one makes the $1000 donation just
to get the recognition that Scouting is still the true beneficiary? I have
problems with anyone that does what they do for recognition but am glad that
at the least, Scouting gets $1000 for letting these kind of people feel
If at some point in time, enough people thought enough of me to donate $1000
in my name then I would be truly flattered and honored. On the other side
of the proverbial coin, if I planned to donate $1000 to Scouting, it would
be done anonymously or with the stipulation that my name not be released.
Just one man's opinion which might be worth .02.
A Crusty ole Bobwhite and Gunaquot Gispuin too.
