Sorry, but there IS a National Standard, and I stated it above: Venture
Patrols are for boys 13-17.
If Troops wish to establish more stringent requirements, that's up to them.
But both the current BSHB and SMHB should clearly state the proper age for
Venture Patrols as established by National.

Currect, which is why I used the word "usually". Many units have found that
establishing the patrol anew for each activity is better then having a
permanent patrol. Others use the permanent patrol.
