Here's a question about Instructors:
"How many of your Districts use youth and/or adult instructors to teach
Many Troops have an instructor or two which were appointed by the Senior
Patrol Leader and does very little other than teaching and coaching Scouts
in their Troop. Has any District expermented with providing Instructors
opportunities to teach Scouting skills during District events or
activities?? Has any District used adult instructors to teach skills (and
those people aren't part of the District's Training Team)??
Most importantly, have you had an opportunity to "lend out" your
Scout/Scouter Instructors to other units (Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops,
Varsity Scout Teams, Venturing Crews (Explorer Posts), or Sea Scout Ships
(Sea Exploring Ships)?
Just curious to see if a suggestion will "Play in Peoria" or not!!
Thanks for any comments and/or suggestions, and please by all means post
them to the list so that we can all learn from them (good or bad)!
