It's personal preference, but I avoid tents with plastic bottoms. I
prefer to put down a separate plastic ground sheet (3-4 mil thick "painters'
cloth") that can be picked up at the nearest K-Mart for a couple of dollars.
Whichever plastic you have it will develop holes. I can dispose of a used
ground cloth and cut a new one; you have to hope the patches will hold after
repeated foldings and setups. And even nylon fabric feels better on the
floor than the crinkly plastic that tent manufacturers use.
But that's just my opinion.
