Sleds like that will not pass inspection (read that as no points awarded)
for our Klondike Derby. It has hinges, rods, nuts an bolts. Our
inspection team has announced that they will be using magnets to find metal
in sleds. Any sled with metal will not pass.
Patrols do have the option of using a sled with metal, but they need to
understand up front that they will loose points.
