Finally! A use for all of those empty Altoid tins! For those of
you not familiar with them, Altoids are "The Original Celebrated Curiously
Strong Peppermints". You can find them in most grocery and department

Subject: Empty tins...
I am looking for a good source of empty 'tins' with tight-fitting lids to
make survival kits with our Webelos and new Scouts. Several books show kits
made in England in 'tobacco tins'- smooth rectangles that are nice and flat
with a tight-fitting lid- these would be perfect IF I could find any!
Any suggestions on where I would find about a dozen of these??
