BSA's URL is http://www.bsa.scouting.org.
They do NOT publish public e-mail addresses for their staff or for
They can provide info if you give them the name, approximate date, troop
number (if available) and the location of the Council HQ (Not
necessarily the council name, since that changes frequently). It takes
a few weeks to research, since the records are NOT computerized. Write
to the Eagle Scout Service at BSA HQ in Irving, TX.
I find it hard to believe a council doesn't have records of ALL of their
Eagle Scouts. They may not have the advancement reports, but should
have the Eagle register. Even 7 years is rather short, since a Scout
joining at age 10.5 and staying until age 18 will be a member for over 7
years, not even counting his time as a Cub Scout or Venturer.
