In September, at our School Roundup, I had the aunt and uncle (now the
quardians) of a transfer cub telling me, " that their nephew paid his dues
at the pack he was transfering from. Does he have to pay again?" This is
always an uncomfortable situation as all units have different policies of
passing funds back to kids or transfering them to a new unit.
When I contacted the boy's previous unit I was informed by the CC that yes,
boy's mother had paid dues but, they were paid back in January! And with
money the cub had received his book, registration, awards and a
subscription to Boy's Life. Obviously, there was nothing left.
Once I explained this to the boy's aunt we had no problem. She understood.
