Not that I remember, but I tend to drop off the List for a few weeks every
so often when things get too hectic at home. It's an interesting idea. My
own quick take on it is that one single Committee might not work too well.
1--If the Units are all active I suspect that the Committee would become
overloaded with work trying to oversee several Units. Our Troop Committee
meets for between 1 and 1 1/2 hours a month. Of course, this depends on
how much "hands-on" management the Committee does.
2--The programs and needs of the different Units are very different.
That being said, I see value in a separate committee made up of the Unit
leaders, a representative from each Unit Committee and the C.O. Rep(s) to
coordinate Scouting activities in the C.O. The different Units could
cooperate on some activities.
