I am glad that at least on person has "seen the night"...
I just wish that groups that insist on bringing "bright sources of light"
erect side drops and contain the light inside their area. I have had troops
camp next to me put their light right next to my tent because they did
not want it too close to their fly. Then they would leave it turned on
(virtually unattended for lengthly periods) while they are in their tents.
Polluting the environment with light is no different than playing a
tuba and base drum. (end of soapbox lecture...) ;-)
