Yes, but he's talking Millennium, not Century. Clearly, the change-over
from First Christian Millennium to Second will occur when the calendar rolls
from 1900 to 2000.
The year 2000 will be the bridge from the 20th to the 21st century, just
as the year 1000 bridged 10th and 11th centuries.
Let's just hope that in y3k, there aren't articles claiming life in y2k was
best described as short, brutish and cruel. (g)
